They were delightfully crunchy and damn tasty though, with the meaty heft of the spicy sausage giving a great depth to the dish, tied together by the gooey cheese while the pico imparted the right amount of lightness to things. There were some pretty focused flavors here, but the course was also just slutty enough to make it good drunk food.
