Now The Boiler, that's a new one to me. It looks like the chef there used to work at Oyster Bar in Palace Station. I've had their jambalaya and gumbo there, and it was quite good.

Michae: I'm actually in Boston this weekend, so not sure what's going on in OC.

Anon: Thanks for the rec--never knew there was such a place at the Farmers Market!

Roddy: Yeah I definitely tried to pinch the tails and suck the heads. I wasn't able to extract all that much though.kevinEatshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13874030588556187843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8667271330300336985.post-151596334011879912012-03-02T01:09:33.393-08:002012-03-02T01:09:33.393-08:00I know they're a lot of work but tell me you s...I know they're a lot of work but tell me you sucked the heads of the crawfish? I only recently discovered them and fell in love with the sweet "fat" found inside the head. In response to your cajun food question, Boiling Crab has become the staple for asian cajun seafood fare around LA. Also, if you're ever in the inland empire, there is a spot called The Boiler in Chino Hills. I believe the place was originally opened by the same chef as Oyster Bar in Las Vegas but it might be owned by someone else now. The location is a bit random but it's the best cajun food I've had in socal.Tiffany T.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8667271330300336985.post-5253622728184731782012-02-28T23:04:24.902-08:002012-02-28T23:04:24.902-08:00Nola's serves good Cajun/Creole cuisine :) The...Nola's serves good Cajun/Creole cuisine :) They also have live jazz almost every nightMarianhttp://www.marianthefoodie.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8667271330300336985.post-32646788000418423442012-02-28T15:15:16.855-08:002012-02-28T15:15:16.855-08:00lobster and shrimp gumbo please!lobster and shrimp gumbo please!Pandalicioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15862514409259318452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8667271330300336985.post-68877569675941294362012-02-28T09:53:07.172-08:002012-02-28T09:53:07.172-08:00Wow Kevin...this looks all great.
