I heard that every time I mention a product on my blog, I have to say whether I got it for free or paid for it myself. Is that true?
No. If you mention a product you paid for yourself, there isn’t an issue. Nor is it an issue if you get the product for free because a store is giving out free samples to its customers. The FTC is only concerned about endorsements that are made on behalf of a sponsoring advertiser. For example, an endorsement would be covered by the FTC Act if an advertiser – or someone working for an advertiser – pays you or gives you something of value to mention a product. If you receive free products or other perks with the expectation that you’ll promote or discuss the advertiser’s products in your blog, you’re covered [by the FTC Act].

I have a website that reviews local restaurants. It’s clear when a restaurant pays for an ad on my website, but do I have to disclose which restaurants give me free meals?
If you get free meals, you should let your readers know so they can factor that in when they read your reviews. Some readers might conclude that if a restaurant gave you a free meal because it knew you were going to write a review, you might have gotten special food or service.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8667271330300336985.post-54155783120786350322017-04-06T15:18:40.851-07:002017-04-06T15:18:40.851-07:00It's a fucking blog you cunt, talking about FT...It's a fucking blog you cunt, talking about FTC guidelines, go play in traffic you corny little bitch.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8667271330300336985.post-28167629483682724322017-04-06T07:23:19.567-07:002017-04-06T07:23:19.567-07:00Kevin,

Working on a project here in Europe and had some difficulty with low light conditions. Do you use a stand? We bought a tiny manfrotto stand that we try to utilize in most cases. It would be weird to walk in a restaurant with a full on tripod, especially when trying to be discreet. I just shoot manually and try to gather as much light as possible. For this particular dinner, try an exposure of 1/20s, f2.8 at ISO3200.kevinEatshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13874030588556187843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8667271330300336985.post-69465795543670191192017-03-29T00:48:10.915-07:002017-03-29T00:48:10.915-07:00Kevin,
