And FYI if you go again, it was the hardest place for reservations, 4 restaurants said no and we tried to book 2 months out.12345https://www.blogger.com/profile/05850436920286017588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8667271330300336985.post-90135697555325263122013-04-04T02:15:44.078-07:002013-04-04T02:15:44.078-07:00Jipeng: Wow indeed.

Next time though.

Waleed: The only time I've had "true" Kobe beef from Hyogo Prefecture was recently at IO by Playground. In my experience, as long as it's Japanese wagyu (which refers to multiple breeds), you're pretty much ok. American or Aussie "Kobe-style" doesn't compare.

Charlie: Yeah I was definitely still feeling the effects of the meat/booze the next morning. It was not a pleasant feeling.kevinEatshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13874030588556187843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8667271330300336985.post-69586519644821516082013-04-02T11:24:25.167-07:002013-04-02T11:24:25.167-07:00I'm still full from dinner.I'm still full from dinner. A couple things: Greg Norman the golfer is now Greg Norman the entrepreneur. I'm not sure I can make perfect sense of all the Kobe-variations out there nowadays and how that converts to price and taste. So, it sounds like this is kobe-style because it is not from Hyōgo Prefecture. But it's still from 100% Japanese Wagyu cattle and pretty good stuff.12345https://www.blogger.com/profile/05850436920286017588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8667271330300336985.post-2491160896946348242013-03-31T12:23:35.292-07:002013-03-31T12:23:35.292-07:00You guys didn't share the tomahawk? heh It...You guys didn't share the tomahawk? heh It's nice to see there is another place in LA that will give CUT some competition as I believe it's gotten a little complacent on reputationthngotiatrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00023926532135072155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8667271330300336985.post-60227585084850859382013-03-31T07:29:27.965-07:002013-03-31T07:29:27.965-07:00oh wowoh wowAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
